Cushman & Wakefield promotes Ignacio Acha; Domènec Casellas; Magdalena Chybcinska ; Gonzalo Ladrón de Guevara and Jenny Pizarro and appoints three new associates

Cushman & Wakefield has just appointed five new partners to enhance and guide the strong growth the firm has experienced in the last five years in Spain. Cushman & Wakefield strategy of attracting and retaining the best talent in the industry and with the aim of leading the sector of real estate consulting in our country , has promoted the following professionals:

  • Domènec Casellas , Partner of the Retail Agency in Barcelona
  • Magdalena Chybcinska , PartnerRetail Asset Services in Madrid
  • Gonzalo Ladrón de Guevara, Partner of Capital Markets in Madrid
  • Jenny Pizarro, Partner Director of Marketing & Communications Spain

In addition, Cushman & Wakefield - which celebrates its 30th anniversary this year in Spain has appointed three new partners, aiming to strengthen the leadership and expertise of a Form up or about 300 professional team. In this way, they have been appointed to members of the firm Vicente Alemany , in Retail Asset Services ; Rubén Blanco , in Retail Leasing , and Jaime Ibáñez , in the Agency Offices.

In the last five years, Cushman & Wakefield has registered a strong strong growth in all the real estate segments in which it provides services. As a result of the strategy of attracting and retaining talent, the firm entered fully into 2018 in the podium global industry , thanks to its leadership in the Retail segments ( leaders in both Madrid and Barcelona by volume of operations ) and Offices (Top 3 t in Madrid and Barcelona -liders by number of operations in the Ciudad Condal-) , and its strong growth in the other areas.

Among other major operations, Cushman & Wakefield has been accompanied in recent years l US giant coworking WeWork in its landing in Spain and has advised the consultancy Everis in the election of its new headquarters both in Madrid and in Barcelona. These two rental operations, totaling 63,000 m 2 , were the two largest in 2018 both in the capital and in Barcelona.

In parallel, the firm has advised large operators of medium-sized parks such as Kiabi , Leroy Merlin and Ikea in the development and implementation of their new shop concepts on the street, and has accompanied restoration chains such as Five Guys , in their new openings in Madrid and Barcelona , o Bunsen , on entering the national market.

Recently, the firm has advised on the sale of the current headquarters of the League to the National Brotherhood of Architects ( hna ) and has mediated in the future move of ING to the Helios building. In addition, it has opened a new line of service in Hospitality with the incorporation of the senior team of the consulting firm Magma HC Consulting.
