Puerto Banús® allies with Cushman & Wakefield to reinforce the commercial expansion of the marina

Cushman & Wakefield will act as an advisor to the spaces of the port to expand the gastronomic and commercial offer. 

Puerto Banús®, one of the most emblematic nautical and tourist destinations in the Mediterranean, announced this morning the collaboration with the renowned real estate consultancy Cushman & Wakefield for the marketing and internationalisation of its retail and leisure areas. This agreement is born with the objective of reinforcing the commercial strategy of the marina and integrating new luxury brands by expanding its gastronomic offer and premium shopping.  

 

With almost 30 years of expertise in Spain, Cushman & Wakefield is a leading global real estate services firm that advises clients to transform the way people work, buy and live. With this agreement, the port hopes to increase its strategy of penetration in the main international markets in order to attract new non-EU clients, as well as to reinforce its position as one of the leading luxury shopping destinations in Spain. 

In the words of David del Barrio, Commercial Director of Puerto Banús®: "We are delighted to begin this collaboration with a leading real estate consultant such as Cushman & Wakefield. This agreement will allow us to reinforce our international strategy thanks to its structure and expertise in the market, in addition to broadening the experiences offered by the port. Ignacio Acha, Director of Retail High Streets at Cushman & Wakefield in Madrid, says that the aim of the agreement is: "Reinforce one of the most renowned shopping destinations in the Mediterranean, Puerto Banus, with our experience in the luxury retail segment. We have detected the important opportunities for commercial growth that the marina has and we consider that this agreement adds value in both directions". 

 

A unique shopping and leisure destination

 Since its inauguration in 1970, the iconic marina has had one of the most important concentrations of luxury brands per square metre in Europe, with major brands such as Dior, Hermès, Louis Vuitton, Gucci, Dolce & Gabbana, Jimmy Choo, Bvlgari, Valentino or Tom Ford among its more than 100 boutiques, placing its average purchase ticket among the highest in the country. The luxury shopping offer is completed with brands such as Saint Laurent, Loewe, Golden Goose or Patrizia Pepe, reinforcing the position of the port as a reference within the luxury sector of the country.
