Cushman & Wakefield advises everis in the lease of a new office space in the 22 @ district for its headquarters in Barcelona
The everis multinational business consultancy has closed a pre - letting contract for a new office space that will host the company's headquarters in the city of Barcelona. The new headquarters, located on the Avinguda d'Icária , 213 located in Villa Olímpica, will have 25,000 square meters that will be divided into two buildings and will house 2,900 professionals from the consultancy.
During the last two years, everis has designed, with the help of an architecture studio, a Workplace model that will respond to new needs and uses for a rapidly transforming consultancy environment. A very important representation of the employees of the company has participated in the elaboration of this model that is going to be implemented in the new building.
The office, which will be newly built, will offer modern, efficient and open spaces that favor collaboration and innovation through shared work areas and the latest technological applications. The transfer of everis professionals to this new space is planned for the second semester of 2021.
"The Barcelona office is one of the main business areas of everis in Spain. With this new location we managed to bring our employees together in the same space with the aim of strengthening collaboration between teams and our customers, in order to continue developing differential business projects globally ", explained Susana Serra, partner in charge of everis in Catalonia.
Meridia Capital, owner of the space, has signed with everis the lease of the office building for 10 years. Cushman & Wakefield has advised on this operation.
Barcelona, innovation hub
The opening of the new everis headquarters in Barcelona responds to the consultant's commitment to the city as a business and innovation hub . The new space aims to be a meeting point for employees, customers, partners and the entrepreneurial ecosystem of the city where they can work on business transformation projects.
This space joins the recent launch of the Living Lab everis in Barcelona, a laboratory of innovation and co-creation where more than 60 professionals working in development projects and innovative solutions using major disruptive technologies.
