Cushman & Wakefield advises to Criteo in the pre-lease of its new office in Barcelona

The company will occupy the entire structure, an 8,524 sqm refurbished building near the emblematic Torre Glòries 
 
Cushman & Wakefield has advised the advertising platform for the open Internet, Criteo, in the pre-lease of its new office in Barcelona, which will be located at the south of 22@ District. 

Criteo will occupy the 8,524 square meters building which is currently undergoing a major renovation and refurbishment to transform it into a modern office building with a semi-industrial look. The renovated property will have the best added value services, such as terraces, showers or changing rooms, among other features. The work will be finished in the second quarter of 2019.  

Cushman & Wakefield advised Criteo on its arrival to Spain back in 2014, specifically in Torre Mapfre and currently on its relocation and refurbishment of the building.   

According to Javier Bernades, International Partner and Director of Business Space at Cushman & Wakefield, “The 22@, a district that has become the main technological and service axis of Barcelona, and confirms the extension of 22@ to the southern area of Glòries, an area that already hosts international headquarters of giants such as Amazon or WeWork.” 

The relevant role of the 22 @ district, within Barcelona, has been growing since its inception and continues moving at a record pace this year. According to Cushman & Wakefield, the district has closed 2018 first semester with a total of 41 rental operations in the totaling 49.537 square meters, representing an increase of 19%, compared to the same period of the previous year.
