Leroy Merlin opens its first urban store in the center of Madrid

Cushman & Wakefield has advised in the opening of the first store of Leroy Merlin at street level in Spain. The establishment has a commercial area of ​​about 3,000 square meters and is located near the Castellana - Azca axis of Madrid in Raimundo Fernández Villaverde street, occupying the space left by Cortefiel and DEALZ.

In this way, the firm dedicated to DIY follows the trail of other multinationals such as Decathlon , Ikea or Media Markt , which have opted to settle in the center of major cities.

Leroy Merlin Madrid will join the nine points of sale currently in the Community of Madrid, and this opening is part of a large expansion plan that the company has recently published, which provides for the opening of 31 new points of sale in the country.
