Cushman & Wakefield, new asset manager of Puerta Europa shopping Centre

Cushman & Wakefield has been awarded both the management and leasing mandate for the Spanish Shopping Centre Puerta Europa, by Värde Partners.

The emblematic shopping centre has 29,400 sqm Gross Lettable Area (GLA) over 84 retail and restaurant units and is located in the city of Algeciras (Cádiz), capital of Campo de Gibraltar region, whose catchment area (including Gibraltar and Ceuta) totals more than 293,000 inhabitants.

Puerta Europa stands out for its varied mix of fashion, retail and food, including retailers such as Primark, H&M, Mercadona, Sport Zone and Lefties, among others.

In Spain, Cushman & Wakefield manages 1.7 million sqm of retail GLA over 27 shopping centres and retail parks, including Islazul (TH Real Estate), intu Asturias (intu Properties), Airesur (CBRE Global Investors), Moraleja Green (Kennedy Wilson), Capuchinos (Invesco) and Vista Alegre (UBS), as well as five hypermarket porfolios.
