The French fashion group SMCP will open a new Sandro store in Barcelona, this time at Passeig de Gràcia 67, the third most expensive shopping street in Spain and the first in the premium sector, according to Cushman & Wakefield latest market reports. This will be Sandro’s third store in the city, after the openings in Avinguda Diagonal and Consell de Cent. Sandro, born in 1984, is the unisex brand of the French group SMCP, who also owns Maje and Claudie Pierlot. To date, it has 192 locations in France and 114 in the rest of Europe, making it one of the most important premium brands internationally. Cushman & Wakefield, the leading global real estate services company, has advised the French multinational in this leasing transaction. The unit is a ground floor of more than 250 m² which held, until now, the Italian fashion brand Trussardi.
Domenec Casellas, Associate in Retail High Streets in Cushman & Wakefield Spain, comments that "a prestigious brand like Sandro needed to be located on the premium Spanish high street, Passeig de Gràcia. Cushman & Wakefield was honored to help them find the ideal location for their third store in Barcelona. "
