According to Frode Nordseth, CEO of Schibsted Spain, "People are our main asset and these facilities will allow us to reinforce Schibsted as an excellent place to work. That all our portals, our Hub and our Product & Tech team are under one roof will improve our synergies. We will optimize Schibsted's global scalability in product development to deliver more value and faster to our customers and users. From 22@ we will locally adapt global products and develop "made in Barcelona" technology of global use for all companies in the group”.

Cushman & Wakefield has advised on this deal which is the largest office letting in 2016 and the largest pre-rental of the last 10 years in Barcelona. According to Javier Bernades, Partner and Business Space Director of Cushman & Wakefield España, "This movement demonstrates once again the appeal of 22 @ as a destination for large technology companies such as Schibsted and Barcelona's challenge to maintain this dynamic."

The project is located in one of the areas of Barcelona that attracts more national and international companies, due to a good connection with public and private transport and the many services that has 22 @. Companies such as Socialpoint, Indra, Mediapro, RBA, Goro-tex or T-Systems have been in the area for years.
