Huawei Spain has announced the relocation of its headquarters to Castellana Norte Business Park in Madrid, owned by Gmp, during the last quarter of 2017. The purpose of this change is to address the companies’ growth estimate in the Spanish market, which predicts its workforce will increase by 50% over the next five years. Huawei's commitment to attracting and retaining talent in Spain has been recently recognized, for the first time since its establishment in this market sixteen years ago, by the Top Employers certification.

For the selection of the company's new headquarters, Huawei has been advised by Cushman & Wakefield, a global leader in real estate services, who will also be responsible for the layout of employees in the new building. This has been the largest office leasing transaction Madrid in 2016.
