Currently, C&W has a market share of 59% in Spain and is the undisputed leader in investment operations in Retail. According to Cushman & Wakefield, 2014 was characterized by greater dynamism of retailers in the non-residential real estate, higher demand and higher prices.
The Investment sector, both in Business Space and retail and Retail has been the first to show signs of recovery, mainly due to the significant growth in demand. In this sense, investment activity has been the most dynamic and has more than doubled in 2013.
According to the CEO of Cushman & Wakefield in Spain, Oriol Barrachina, "2014 has been a very active investment year and we believe that 2015 will continue in this line of growth, as can be glimpsed from deals closed in the first months and by expectations for the rest of the year. "
