The Challenge

Cushman & Wakefield was instructed manage Parque Miramar while the shopping centre is being restructured.

The Solution

Cushman & Wakefield was appointed Asset and Property Managers in of Parque Miramar in July 2009. Parque Miramar is a complex resulting of the union between Parque Miramar Shopping Centre and Parque Mijas Retail Park. They are both very close to each other but unreachable by foot. Its combined estimated GLA is over 70.000 sq m and some of its main tenants are: Zara, Eroski, Foot Sport, C&A, Ivarte, Casa, Poly Juguetes, Massimo Dutti, Dorothy Perkins, Decathlon, Aki Bricolaje, Boulanger, Forum Sport, Comerco Cash & Carry, Kiabi

Last year, Parque Miramar underwent a transformation of its ground floor. This transformation increased 3% the affluence of public and this year, first floor is being restructured as well. This second transformation is focused to welcome even more visitants, 40% of which are from different nationalities such as British, Nordics or Russians. This became a challenge for Cushman & Wakefield, who reconsider its work and the way they have being managing properties and built a new way of working adapting to the situation.

The Results

Our main objective is to position the overall retail complex as the main international fashion destination of Andalusian Coast, increasing the performance of the buildings, by means of improving the commercial mix with the aim exposed, reviewing services and improving its general appearance.
