Unión Iniciativas Marina de la Farola, S.A. chose Cushman & Wakefield to carry out the development and commercialization of its new project MUELLE UNO.
The project has 14,000 sqm of GLA, distributed 70 stores in a single plant, and 1,000 parking spaces. Muelle Uno is located in the Port of Málaga, in a unique environment and emblematic of the city. The main objective was to integrate the port into the city, its philosophy, "a new shopping street next to the Mediterranean."
Cushman & Wakefield using his experience brought to Unión Iniciativas Marina de la Farola, S.A. consulting services in terms of design, mobilization and marketing strategy, also assisted with the cooperation of management to optimize the operation of the centre.
The hallmark of the Center is its location, very urban and very well connected with people with different pedestrian access, connecting to one of the best residential areas of Málaga, (Quarter Malagueta), not to mention the proximity to the terminal Cruise that receive more than 700,000 cruise passengers a year. We proposed to integrate national and international trades with well known local brands in order to create an attractive commercial offer that included quality and originality.
A new business concept for the city of Malaga, combining the development of a shopping mall in a city street, and facing the sea. The center opened November 2011 and provides a wide range of quality Restaurants that will become a gastronomic reference to the city.
